10 Pieces Every Woman Should Have...Via InStyle

Star stylist Nicole Chavez (inset photo) collaborates with celebrities like Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell and Scarlett Johansson. We asked her which key pieces every woman should have in her closet.

Black Blazer

NICOLE SAYS "A tailored blazer is classic, feminine and looks great on all body types. Pair it with anything: jeans, little dresses, trousers, skirts. Make sure to find one that fits you well and accentuates your waist—you don't want it to look like it's swallowing you!"

Leopard Print Scarf

NICOLE SAYS "Even if you're wearing a basic T-shirt and jeans, use accessories like a printed scarf as the 'bright' piece to complete your look."

Red Flats

NICOLE SAYS "Black is the obvious choice, but red flats provide a pop of color and work for every season. I love to pair them with a striped shirt and a trench coat."

Striped Shirt

NICOLE SAYS "This timeless classic is having a comeback. It looks great paired with brights or prints or peeking out from underneath a blazer."

Statement Necklace

NICOLE SAYS "I believe in having basics in your closet and playing with your accessories. The statement necklace can make a simple outfit look strong and feminine."

Little Black Dress

NICOLE SAYS "Every woman knows she should have a little black dress, but it's important to invest in one that's special. Look for a dress with a detail—an interesting sleeve, an embellished belt—that makes it unique. And remember that finding the right fit is important!"

Black Opaque Tights

NICOLE SAYS "A great pair of tights can make your legs look slimmer and help you get away with wearing a dress that's a little too short. Double them up for a more opaque look—and to keep you warm in the winter!"

Oversize Watch

NICOLE SAYS "A watch is as much an accessory as it is a timepiece. A gold watch is a great way to dress an outfit up—try leaving it loose so it looks like a bracelet."

Classic Trench

NICOLE SAYS "Think of this as an investment piece—you'll wear it forever, even if you fluctuate in size. Look for a classic A-line silhouette that will cinch you in at the waist and wear it over everything from suits to jeans."

Flared Jeans

NICOLE SAYS "This is a flattering shape for most body types. Pair them with platforms or wedges to get extra height while keeping the look casual and comfortable."

Oh Rachel Zoe

Hey! She stole my outfit!

Okay, I lied. Ke$ha got this horrible outfit idea herself.
This is what she wore to a radio station the other day.
Hmmm...not something I would wear, but hey, I guess if you are a celebrity you can wear anything! Haaa!

Song of the Week: Lil Wayne VS. The Office Theme Song - Office Musik

So my friend showed me this song a while ago and I loved it. If you like Lil Wayne and the TV show The Office...then you should like this...
Have a listen!

Remember these guys?

Now there are few 90's boy bands that I don't remember...but this group I totally forgot about! Sooo funny! Anyone who grew up around the same time as me should remember these two songs. I wonder when the whole boy band thing is going to be popular again. Will our kids be listening to something like this when they grow up?

What would you rather spend your money on?

Good Food or Good Clothes?

My thoughts tend to think that most guys who answer this would say in a second that they would rather spend money on a steak than a nice sweater. But that is just talking about the stereotypical male that I have in my head. So don't worry, if you are a guy and answered clothes, you aren't weird. Ha. But lets just say, for all those guys who answered food -- what if I rephrased and said good food or your favorite hockey jersey...or the wolf shirt that Alan wears in The Hangover? Would that make it different for you?
Mine is undoubtably good clothes. I have always been a sucker for clothes and well, I am basically going to school to become a professional shopper so really no one can judge me! I will totally stick to my Ichibans and PB&Js if it means I can buy that really cute pair of sandals. Hahah.
But when you think about what you need and what you want, which comes first? Obviously needs come first until a certain extent. But really think about yourself and ask the question - would you rather indulge needs or wants?
Let me know what you decide!

The Runaways

Soooo I really do not like Kristen Stewart...but I think she could be really really good in this movie. The music in this movie is going to be so good! And Dakota Fanning looks amazing too! Awww, remember her as the little girl in I am Sam??? They grow up so fast. Ha!
Are you going to go see this movie?

Things to never say on a resume...

Yep, some people do this. A funny thing that I saw one time under a person's 'Hobbies' section was, "I love to watch hockey (Go Flames Go!)" Yes, it is funny but not appropriate for a resume! Here are some other things you should never say on your resume -- [courtesy of www.savvysugar.com]
